Courses Offer under DTI

The state of the art training facility under Driver Training Institute is currently providing training under following courses:

1) Beginner Course For Heavy Duty Vehicle Driver: The course curriculum is designed adhering the guidelines of CMVR, 1989. The candidate has to have HCV learner license to apply for this course. Course duration is around 30 days for a batch comprising of 20 trainees.

2) Beginner Course Light Motor Vehicle Driver: The course curriculum is designed adhering the guidelines of CMVR, 1989. Eligibility for applying for the course is also as per the framed guideline. Course duration is 15-21 days for a batch comprising of 20 trainees.

3) LMV Transport (LMV-T) or Cab driving Training course: The course curriculum is designed adhering the guidelines of CMVR, 1989. The candidate should be minimum 20 years of age with minimum one year old LMV-NT license and LMV-T Learner License. Course duration is 7-12 days for a batch comprising of 7-10 trainees.

4) Refresher Course for Light Motor Vehicle: The course is designed to provide the refreshing training for the person who has already trained o LMV and wants to enhance their skills. The duration of the course is 3 days and having batch size of 20 persons.

5) Refresher Training for Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver: The course is designed for trained drivers who has HMV/HCV license. The duration of the course is 2 days and batch size of 20 persons.

6) Refresher Training for Drivers of Public Service Vehicle: The candidate must have LMV-T, HMV/HCV license. The duration of course is 2 days with batch size of 20 persons.

7) Refresher Training for Experienced Drivers for Defensive Driving and Fuel Efficiency: The participant must have LMV-T/NT or HMV/HCV license. The duration of course is 2 days with batch size of 20 persons.

8) Taxi Driver Level-4: This is a ASDC affiliated course. Eligibility= Minimum qualification required 10th pass; Experience= 0 years if ASDC Taxi Driver Certificate or 1-2 years in driving a Four Wheeler Vehicle. Minimum Age= Age LMV=18 Years HCV =minimum 20 years With valid license from RTO. The duration of the course is 1 month for batch sizing 20 candidates.

9) Commercial Vehicle Driver Level 4: This is also ASDC affiliated course. Eligibility= 8th Standard pass, preferably; Experience= 0 years if ASDC Commercial Vehicle Driver Level 4 Certificate or minimum 6 months in driving a Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) and minimum 3 months in driving a Commercial Vehicle in company of an experienced driver. Minimum Age = 20 years. The duration of the course is 1.5 months for a batch sizing 20 candidates.

* Practical training is generally provided an hour a day per candidate with flexible timing.
